Radiator Ventilation Hose for the engine cooling system's degassing circuit. The hose vents air and coolant vapour from the top of the radiator to the degas (expansion) tank, allowing trapped air to separate out of the coolant circuit.

Keeping the coolant path free of air helps prevent airlocks and localised overheating. Fitted to the 4.4L V8 diesel engine.

What does the radiator ventilation hose do?
