Idler Pulley - a drive belt idler in the front-end accessory drive (serpentine belt) system.

The idler pulley routes and guides the multi-rib drive belt around the accessory drive circuit, maintaining correct belt wrap and alignment across the driven ancillaries. It runs on a sealed bearing and is bolted to the front of the engine.
