Copper Sealing Washer for the turbocharger oil feed on the 2.0L Ingenium (AJ200) engine.

The washer seals the banjo union on the turbocharger oil feed line, with a pair fitted to each banjo bolt, one either side of the union. The soft copper crushes on tightening to form a leak-tight joint on the pressurised oil feed.

What is this copper washer for?
This copper sealing washer seals the banjo union on the turbocharger oil feed line of the 2.0L Ingenium (AJ200) engine. The soft copper crushes as the banjo bolt is tightened to form a leak-tight joint on the pressurised oil feed. It fits the Discovery 5 and Discovery Sport.
How many copper washers do I need?
Four copper washers are needed per vehicle on the turbocharger oil feed, fitted two per banjo bolt, one either side of the union. Order the full quantity so each banjo joint seals correctly on the Discovery 5 or Discovery Sport turbo feed.
Can these copper washers be reused?
Copper sealing washers are single-use and should be replaced whenever the banjo union is disturbed. The washer seals by crushing on tightening, so a reused washer typically will not seal again and can leak pressurised oil at the turbo feed. Always fit new ones.
