Steering Ignition Lock Housing - the housing that mounts the ignition switch and steering-column lock to the upper steering column.

It locates the lock barrel and switch assembly against the column and carries the steering-lock mechanism. This is the "less shift interlock" version, supplied without the automatic-transmission shift-lock interface.
