The door opening weatherstrip is the front door aperture seal that fits around the door opening on the body. It seals between the door and the body opening to keep out water, dust and draught, and is renewed when the rubber perishes, splits or leaks.
Which Defender does this weatherstrip fit, and which side?
This weatherstrip fits the 2007-2016 Puma Defender, front door, left-hand side only, from VIN 7A000001. It does not fit the New Defender L663. Confirm you need the left side, as the right door uses a different seal.
Is this a genuine Land Rover seal, and where does it sit?
