Head-Up Display Unit - the projection module of the driver information system. It projects key driving data onto the windscreen within the driver's line of sight, so information such as road speed and navigation guidance can be read without looking away from the road.

The unit mounts in the top of the facia above the instrument cluster and projects upward through an aperture onto the windscreen glass, using the vehicle data network for its display feed.
