Oil Filter Gasket from the oil cooler and filter housing assembly of the 4.4L DOHC DITC V8 diesel.

The gasket seals the oil filter housing against its mating face, containing pressurised engine oil on the circuit that runs from the pump through the cooler and filter and on to the main oil gallery. It is a single-use item and should be renewed whenever the housing is disturbed; a re-used gasket is a common source of oil weeps at the housing joint.
