Rocker Cover Gasket for the 4.0L Cologne V6 SOHC petrol engine, sealing the rocker cover to the cylinder head.

The gasket seats in the groove of the rocker cover flange and closes the valve gear chamber against oil escaping at the head joint. It is a routine renewal whenever the rocker cover is lifted for access to the valve train.

A hardened, flattened or crushed gasket is a common source of oil weeping down the side of the cylinder head, often onto the exhaust manifold below.
