Trailer Coupling Wiring Harness - the vehicle-side loom of the towing electrical installation, running from the rear body harness to the trailer socket.

It carries the trailer lighting and earth circuits to the connector and links the trailer module into the vehicle's own electrical system, so that trailer lighting and the towing-related functions of the body control electronics operate as intended rather than being spliced into the rear lamp circuits.

Supplied as the harness for the factory accessory towing installations - fixed flanged towbar, detachable towbar, and 2" square receiver types.
