Rear Brake Pad Set - friction pads for the rear disc brake assembly, supplied as a rear axle set complete with springs.

The pads locate in the rear caliper and are clamped against the brake disc under hydraulic pressure from the caliper piston, converting the vehicle's kinetic energy into heat. The rear axle carries a smaller share of the total braking effort than the front, but the pads wear steadily and are replaced as a set so that braking stays balanced across the axle.

The anti-rattle springs supplied with this set retain the pads in the caliper carrier and suppress vibration under light brake application.
