Accessory Drive Belt for the engine accessory (ancillary) drive on 3.0L V6 supercharged and 5.0L V8 AJ133 supercharged petrol engines.

The belt is driven from the crankshaft pulley and routed over the automatic tensioner and idler pulleys to turn the engine ancillaries, including the alternator and air conditioning compressor. Belt tension is held by the automatic tensioner, so belt and tensioner condition are assessed together.

Inspect the ribbed face for cracking, glazing, fraying or oil and coolant contamination. A worn or slipping belt reduces ancillary output and accelerates wear of the tensioner and idler pulley bearings, and is normally renewed whenever the tensioner is replaced.
