Frequently asked questions

What is the PCH002280LR bottom coolant hose?
The PCH002280LR is the bottom coolant hose for the Land Rover Defender Td5, 2004 to 2006. It's the lower radiator hose that returns cooled coolant from the radiator back to the engine.
Which Defenders does it fit?
This hose fits the Defender Td5 built between 2004 and 2006. Earlier Td5 Defenders can use a different bottom hose, so confirm your VIN and build year before ordering.
Why do bottom coolant hoses fail?
Bottom coolant hoses typically soften, perish, or split with age and heat, causing coolant leaks and overheating. A lower hose failure can dump coolant quickly, so replace the hose if it feels spongy or shows cracks.
