Cooling Fan for the front-end cooling pack on vehicles built with factory air conditioning.

The fan draws air through the condenser and radiator at idle and at low road speeds, when ram airflow alone is not sufficient to reject the heat carried by the refrigerant circuit. It is switched by the air conditioning control circuit and works alongside the engine-driven viscous fan rather than replacing it.

Renew if the blades are cracked or distorted, or where refrigerant pressures rise in slow-moving traffic because condenser airflow has been lost.
