Front Direction Indicator Bulb - 12V 28W, serving the indicator position within the front lamp assembly.

At 28W this bulb is rated above the more common 21W indicator type. Direction indicator circuits are load-sensitive: fitting a bulb of lower wattage than specified can raise the flash rate or trigger a lamp-failure warning. The rated wattage must therefore be matched on replacement, and kept the same on both sides of the vehicle.

Fit the bulb without touching the glass, then check that the flash rate is normal before returning the vehicle to service.
