ABS Modulator from the four-wheel anti-lock braking hydraulic circuit.

The modulator sits between the master cylinder and the wheel brake circuits. On a signal from the ABS electronic control unit its solenoid valves modulate hydraulic pressure to the channel of a wheel that is about to lock, releasing and reapplying pressure to keep the wheel rotating under braking.

The brake hydraulic system must be bled after fitting.
