Front Wheel Speed Sensor - ABS sensor mounted at the front hub carrier, reading the tone ring to report individual wheel rotational speed.

The signal feeds the ABS modulator and is shared with the stability control, traction control and road speed functions, so a failed sensor will normally set an ABS or stability control fault and disable those systems. This sensor is specified for rear-wheel-drive (non all-wheel-drive) applications.
