Frequently asked questions

What's included in the ANR6643 towing kit with electrics?

The ANR6643 is a tow bar kit supplied together with trailer electrical wiring for towing lights. It's listed as an alternative to part DA2138, so check which one matches your specific vehicle listing before ordering.

Is the electrical kit a plug-and-play harness?

No, the towing electrics in this kit aren't a plug-in harness. They need to be hard-wired into the vehicle's electrical system during fitting, so budget for that extra wiring work.

Can the ANR6643 be fitted at home?

The tow bar itself is a bolt-on job most competent DIY mechanics can manage with standard sockets and spanners. The hard-wired electrics are more involved, so many owners have that part done by a specialist.

What's the difference between the ANR6643 and DA2138?

DA2138 is listed as the alternative part number for this towing kit, so the two are treated as interchangeable for stock purposes. If you already have a reference to DA2138, the ANR6643 is the corresponding kit.
