Frequently asked questions

What is the DA4877 steering wheel?

The DA4877 is a 15-inch wood-rim steering wheel with a semi-dished profile, made by Mountney. It's an OEM upgrade for the Land Rover Defender up to 2016, replacing the standard wheel to give a classic wood-rimmed look and feel.

Does the DA4877 wheel need a separate boss to fit?

Yes, the DA4877 mounts to the steering column through a separate boss, which isn't included and must be bought to fit the wheel. The correct boss depends on your column's diameter and spline count, so confirm those on your vehicle before ordering the boss.

Which Land Rovers does the DA4877 wood wheel fit?

The DA4877 fits the Land Rover Defender up to 2016. It's an OEM Mountney wheel that swaps in for the standard item, though it mounts through a separate column boss rather than bolting straight on. Match the boss to your column and the 15-inch wood rim fits in place of the original.
