Ride Height Sensor measures the position of the rear suspension and reports it to the air suspension control module.

Mounted at the left-hand rear, the sensor links the body to the suspension arm and converts suspension travel into an electrical signal. The control module uses this signal to regulate air spring pressure and hold the set ride height under varying load, keeping the vehicle level.

Frequently asked questions

What does the rear ride height sensor do?
The rear ride height sensor measures suspension position and reports it to the air suspension control module on the Range Rover L322. The module uses that signal to regulate air spring pressure and hold the set ride height as load changes.
Which corner of the vehicle is this sensor for?
This ride height sensor is the rear left-hand (LH) unit on the Range Rover L322 air suspension. It mounts at the left rear and links the body to the suspension arm, so order by corner to match the side you need.
What are the signs a ride height sensor is failing?
A failing rear ride height sensor often triggers a suspension fault warning or leaves the Range Rover L322 sitting unevenly or at the wrong height. Because the module relies on its signal, a faulty sensor can stop the air suspension holding the correct level.
How do I confirm this fits my L322?
This sensor fits the Range Rover L322 from 2002 to 2009, rear left-hand side, from VIN 4A174108. Check your VIN and confirm you need the rear LH corner, as the other corners use their own sensors.
