Front Brake Caliper Attachment Kit - the caliper fitting hardware for the front disc brake assembly.

The kit contains the brake pad clips and the pad retaining pins. The clips seat in the abutments of the caliper carrier and give the pads a clean, low-friction channel to slide in, holding the pad backing plates in position and damping the movement that causes rattle. The retaining pins pass through the pad backing plates to hold the pads in the caliper.

This hardware is renewed with the brake pads: corroded clips and pins stop the pads releasing cleanly from the disc and cause uneven pad wear. Two kits are needed to do both front calipers.
