Brake Caliper Seal Kit for overhauling a front disc brake caliper.

The kit covers the caliper piston seal and the piston dust boot. The square-section piston seal maintains the hydraulic seal between the piston and the caliper bore and provides the roll-back that retracts the pad on release; the dust boot keeps water and road grit out of the bore, which is what allows the bore and piston to corrode and seize once it splits.

Seals are renewed with the caliper stripped and the bore and piston inspected for pitting, and the hydraulic circuit is bled after reassembly. Supplied for the 4.0 litre V8 front caliper.
