Front Brake Caliper Carrier - the machined mounting adaptor between the front hub carrier and the brake caliper.

The carrier bolts to the suspension upright and the caliper bolts to the carrier, setting the caliper's position over the disc and transferring braking torque into the hub. Carrier part numbers are specific to the brake package fitted, so the carrier must match the caliper and the disc diameter on the vehicle.

Distorted or corroded seating faces and damaged bolt threads are the usual reasons for replacement.
