What is the DA1394 brake pipe swivel bracket for?
The DA1394 bracket secures the brake pipe at the front swivel housing on the Defender, retaining the rigid pipe where it meets the flexible hose feeding the calliper. This is the left-hand side bracket.
Why is this bracket made from stainless steel?
It's made from 316 stainless steel to resist corrosion in the exposed axle-end position where the original bracket rusts. A corroded bracket can let the pipe chafe or work loose, so a stainless replacement lasts far longer here.
Is this the left or right bracket, and is the other side separate?
