Rear Brake Hose - flexible hydraulic hose forming part of the rear brake hydraulic circuit.

It carries pressurised brake fluid from the rigid brake pipe mounted on the body or subframe across to the rear brake caliper, bridging the moving joint between the sprung chassis and the unsprung suspension components.

The reinforced hose construction absorbs full suspension travel without strain while resisting expansion under line pressure, so pedal feel and braking response remain consistent. Hoses are a wear item: perishing, chafing or internal delamination produces a soft pedal or a caliper that drags after release. Replacement in axle pairs is normal practice, and the circuit must be bled after fitting.
