The hose carries brake fluid across the moving joint between body and steering knuckle, flexing with suspension travel and steering lock while containing full system pressure. It serves the right-hand front corner; the corresponding left-hand hose is LR172650.

Suitable for both right- and left-hand drive applications. The brake circuit must be bled after replacement.
