Rear Brake Hose - flexible hose in the rear hydraulic brake circuit, forming the movable link between the rigid brake pipe mounted on the body and the rear brake assembly.

Reinforced rubber construction contains full system pressure while allowing the hose to flex through the complete range of suspension travel. The crimped end fittings mate to the rigid pipe union at one end and to the brake assembly at the other.

Replace if the outer cover is cracked, chafed or perished, if the end fittings are corroded, or if the hose swells under pedal pressure - each of which produces a soft pedal and reduced braking efficiency. The circuit must be bled after fitting.
