Brake Hose - front flexible hydraulic hose, part of the front brake hydraulic circuit.

The hose runs from the rigid brake pipe fixed to the body out to the front brake caliper, providing the flexible section that absorbs steering lock and suspension travel while carrying full hydraulic pressure.

Reinforced rubber hose perishes and chafes over time, and an aged hose can swell internally and hold pressure at the caliper. Renewing the flexible hoses in pairs keeps braking balanced across the axle. Bleed the brake circuit after fitting.

Frequently asked questions

What is the T4K1010 front brake hose for?
The T4K1010 is a front flexible brake hose for the Jaguar I-PACE (X590) from 2018. It runs from the rigid brake pipe on the body out to the front brake caliper, providing the flexible section that absorbs steering lock and suspension travel while carrying full hydraulic pressure.
How many front hoses do I need?
Renew front flexible hoses in pairs to keep braking balanced across the axle. This hose fits both left and right front on the I-PACE across all VINs, so two are needed to do the axle. Bleed the brake circuit after fitting.
What are the signs a flexible hose has failed?
Reinforced rubber brake hose perishes and chafes over time, and an aged hose can swell internally and hold pressure at the caliper, so a brake drags or is slow to release. Any swelling, chafing or fluid weeping at the fittings means it's time to renew.
