Brake Pad Set - Rear - friction pads for the rear disc brake assembly.

The pads locate in the rear calliper and are clamped against the brake disc under hydraulic pressure, providing the rear share of the braking effort. Friction material and backing plate dimensions are specific to the rear calliper and disc specification and differ from the front pads.

Replace the pads on both sides of the axle at the same time and inspect the discs for wear, scoring and run-out while the calliper is off. New friction material must be bedded in before full braking performance is available.
