Rear Brake Pad Set - friction pads for the rear disc brake calipers, for the 16 inch rear brake application.
The pads are clamped against the rear brake discs by the caliper pistons to produce the rear axle share of braking effort. They are supplied and replaced as a rear axle set so that braking effort stays balanced from side to side.
Measure disc thickness and run-out while the calipers are apart, and bed the new pads in with a series of progressively firmer stops before any hard braking, so the friction surface conforms to the disc face.
