Brake Pad Set - Front - front axle disc brake pads.

The pads locate in the front calipers and are clamped against the front discs by the caliper pistons under hydraulic pressure. The front axle does the greater share of the braking work as weight transfers forward under deceleration, so front pads run hotter and wear faster than the rear set.

Supplied as a brake pad set. Renew pads across the whole axle so braking stays balanced side to side, and check disc thickness and surface condition at the same time. More than one front disc and caliper size was fitted to this platform, so confirm the front brake package on the vehicle before ordering. Bed new pads in progressively before heavy use.
