The mudshield closes the gap between the inner wing and the bulkhead footwell, shielding the footwell face and the lower bulkhead structure from mud, water and debris thrown up by the front wheel. Once it corrodes or loses its fit it traps moisture against the bulkhead instead of deflecting it, so it is a routine replacement item whenever the bulkhead or footwell is repaired.

Supplied in galvanised finish for corrosion resistance in the wheelarch environment.
