Body panel fixing used to retain the radiator grille and the front and rear bumper covers, and to secure splash shields and dash panel and front fender trim panels to their mounting points.

The thread is self-tapping and forms its own thread in the panel or mounting aperture, so a screw with a stripped thread or corroded head should be renewed rather than refitted.
