Bonnet Release Cable operating from the interior release handle, part of the Bonnet Latch and Release Linkage.

Pulling the release handle in the driver's footwell draws this cable and trips the bonnet latch to its safety-catch position. The release run is made up in sections; the front centre section of the cable is supplied separately as LR013888.

A stretched, seized or snapped cable is the usual cause of a bonnet that will not release, or a handle that pulls through with no resistance.
