Frequently asked questions

What is the LR037514LR cross member insulator?
The LR037514LR is a cross member insulator, a rubber isolating bush fitted between the rear suspension crossmember and the body. It cushions the crossmember and its stabiliser bar mounting against the chassis, damping road vibration and noise while keeping the crossmember located under load.
Where is this insulator used and which models fit?
This insulator sits at the rear crossmember on the Discovery 5, Range Rover L405 and Range Rover Sport L494. On the L494 it fits the non-SVR core crossmember, so SVR cars may differ. Confirm your variant before ordering.
How many are needed and what are the signs of wear?
These insulators are usually fitted at the crossmember mounting points, so check how many your vehicle uses and consider replacing them together. Worn insulators typically produce clunks or extra vibration from the rear as the rubber perishes.
