Rear Lamp - Stop and Flasher - RH, tailgate-mounted.

The assembly combines the stop lamp and the rear direction indicator in a single sealed housing and fixes to the tailgate, connecting to the tailgate section of the rear lighting harness. Because it travels with the tailgate, the housing and its connector see repeated opening cycles and water running off the tailgate seal; a cracked lens or perished gasket lets moisture in and causes intermittent or failed operation.
