Cowl Moulding Clip - retaining clip securing the front cowl (leaf screen) moulding to the body structure.

The clip holds the plenum trim panel down against its sealing line at the base of the windscreen, maintaining the seal that keeps water and debris out of the plenum chamber and the air intake below it.

Clips of this type are frequently broken on removal during wiper, plenum or windscreen work, and are replaced as a matter of course so the moulding is retained at its correct clamping load.
