Lamp Access Cover for the tailgate - the trim panel that closes off the rear lamp access aperture.

The cover conceals the opening in the tailgate inner trim through which the rear lamp unit fixings and its wiring connector are reached, restoring the finished appearance of the trim once the lamp has been removed or refitted. It is a commonly damaged item, since the tabs that retain it are stressed every time the rear lamp is serviced.

The cover for the opposite side of the tailgate is LR182978.
