Coil Springs - Front, 1" lowered, supplied as a pair.

Standard-rate springs for the front coil suspension, reducing front ride height by 1". They closely match the original spring specification and rate, so load carrying capability is unchanged - these are not intended to carry additional load.

The reduced ride height gives a lower, squatter stance and less body roll when cornering.

Frequently asked questions

What are the 1 inch lower front coil springs used for?
These front coil springs lower the Land Rover Defender's front ride height by 1 inch while keeping close to the original spring rate. They suit owners wanting a slightly lower stance without changing load capacity, and are supplied as a pair.
Do these lowered springs reduce load capacity?
No, these 1 inch lower springs closely match the original spring specification and rate, so load carrying capability is unchanged. They lower the front of the Defender without being designed to carry extra load over standard springs.
Which Defenders do these front springs fit?
These 1 inch lower front springs fit the Land Rover Defender 90, 110 and 130 from 1986 to 2016. They're supplied as a pair and replace the standard-height front coil springs on those models.
When should Defender front coil springs be replaced?
Front coil springs typically need replacing when ride height sags, the ride turns harsh, or coils show cracks or heavy corrosion. On the Defender they're best changed as a pair to keep the front sitting level.
