Monotube Suspension Kit - standard ride height, standard load. A matched set of shock absorbers and coil springs covering both axles, grouped under a single ordering reference for convenience.
The kit contains two front monotube shock absorbers (TF2131), two rear monotube shock absorbers (TF2132), two standard-load front coil springs (TF020) and two standard-load rear coil springs (TF021).
Monotube damper construction places the oil and gas in a single tube separated by a floating piston, which allows a larger working piston and improves heat dissipation under repeated cycling. Spring rates are matched to standard ride height and a standard load rating, so no lift is introduced and the original geometry is retained.
Where the front and rear loads on the vehicle differ significantly, springs of different load ratings can be selected individually instead of using a matched kit. Depending on the final specification of the vehicle, additional parts such as extended bump stops or longer brake hoses may be required.
