Frequently asked questions

Where is this interior trim screw used?
This screw fixes interior trim to the body structure on the Defender 2020 onward and the Discovery 5. Land Rover lists it across the instrument panel, floor console and trim assemblies, so it's the common fixing behind dash panels, console sections and their mounting brackets rather than a part tied to one location.
How many of these screws does a trim job need?
That depends on the panel. Instrument panel and floor console assemblies on the Discovery 5 and Defender L663 typically use several of the same screw across their fixing points, so ordering a few spares is normal for a strip and refit. Count the fixings you remove before you order.
Can these trim screws be reused?
Usually yes, if the thread and head are undamaged. Interior trim screws bite into plastic bosses or captive clips though, and the head recess rounds off easily on removal. Any screw that's stripped, rounded, or has pulled its boss should be replaced, which is why these get ordered as refit spares.
