O-Ring - Thermostat Housing - sealing ring in the engine cooling circuit, at the thermostat housing joint face.

It seals the housing against the coolant gallery, preventing coolant loss and air ingress at the joint. Fitted to the 3.0L Ingenium petrol inline-six (AJ20P6 / AJ22P6).

Renew the seal whenever the thermostat or its housing is removed.
