Sump Plug - oil pan drain plug in the engine lubrication system, thread M18 x 1.5, for the 4.4L V8 Turbo Petrol engine.

The plug closes the drain aperture at the lowest point of the oil pan and is removed to drain the engine oil at each service interval. The sealing washer should be renewed whenever the plug is disturbed, so that the plug seats cleanly against the drain face and does not weep.
