Frequently asked questions

What is the LR046853 A-pillar finisher?

The LR046853 is the left-hand A-pillar outer finisher (drip rail moulding) in satin black for the Land Rover Discovery 4 (2010-2016). It clips over the outer A-pillar alongside the windscreen, hiding the body seam and directing water away from the door aperture.

How is the LR046853 different from other A-pillar finishers?

The LR046853 is the satin black left-hand version. Land Rover listed related A-pillar finishers under codes LR00256PNP, LR029542 and LR033735, which can differ by finish or build. Match the satin black finish and left-hand side to your Discovery 4 before ordering.

Is the LR046853 A-pillar finisher a clip-on fit?

The LR046853 finisher typically clips and bonds onto the Discovery 4 A-pillar, so it's usually a straightforward fit once the old moulding and any adhesive are removed. Take care lifting the old one so the clips and paint aren't damaged, and clean the pillar before fitting.
