H7 is a single-filament type on a PX26d base, used in headlamp units where the dipped beam and the main beam have separate reflector or projector chambers, each with its own bulb.

These are xenon-filled halogen bulbs. The xenon gas fill lets the filament run hotter for a whiter light than a standard halogen bulb of the same rating, with no change to the wiring or the headlamp unit.

Bulbs are best replaced in pairs so that output and colour stay consistent on both sides of the vehicle.
