LR032873 - Remote Control System – 433 MHz

The LR032873 remote control system is the handheld key transmitter for the vehicle's remote central locking. It sends lock, unlock and tailgate-release commands to the body control module on the 433 MHz frequency, giving keyless operation of the central locking on the Land Rover Discovery 4.

This 433 MHz remote control system fits the Land Rover Discovery 4 (2010-2016). The 433 MHz frequency is region-specific, so it typically suits vehicles supplied to markets using that band. Check your existing remote's frequency before ordering, as a mismatched frequency won't communicate with the car.

A replacement remote control typically needs programming to the vehicle before it will operate the central locking, as the body control module only responds to keys already paired to it. This is usually done with Land Rover diagnostic equipment. A new remote won't work straight out of the box without being coded in.
