Valve Stem Seal - valve train sealing component in the cylinder head of the 2.2L Td4 diesel engine.

The seal fits over the valve stem at the top of the valve guide and meters the oil passing down the stem, keeping the stem and guide lubricated while preventing oil from being drawn into the port and combustion chamber.
