Oil Seal for the oil level sensor where it passes through the wall of the oil pan (sump).

The sensor is retained in the sump and this ring forms the oil-tight seal at the joint, keeping engine oil in the pan and away from the sensor connector.

Renew the seal whenever the level sensor is disturbed or the sump is dropped - once compressed it will not reseal reliably.
