Vacuum Pump Sealing Ring - seals the joint between the vacuum pump and its mounting face on the engine, within the combined oil pump and vacuum pump assembly.

The engine-driven vacuum pump supplies the depression used by the brake servo and the other vacuum-actuated systems. This ring maintains the pump-to-housing seal at that joint, containing pump oil feed and preventing a vacuum leak that would degrade servo assistance. Renewal is normal practice whenever the pump is removed from the engine.

Applies to the Ingenium 2.0L four-cylinder and 1.5L three-cylinder petrol and diesel engines (AJ200 / AJ20 / AJ21).
