Spark plug for the ignition system of the Ingenium petrol engine range - 1.5L AJ20P3, 2.0L AJ20P4 / AJ200P and 3.0L AJ20P6 / AJ22P6, including plug-in hybrid applications.

The plug threads into the cylinder head and projects into the combustion chamber, where the coil-on-plug ignition coil fires across the electrode gap to ignite the compressed air/fuel charge. Electrode condition and gap directly affect cold starting, idle stability, misfire behaviour and fuel consumption.

Plugs are consumable service items and are renewed as a complete set at the scheduled interval, never individually, so that all cylinders share the same ignition characteristics.
