Crankcase cover gasket for the crankcase ventilation (emission control) cover on the 3.0L Ingenium six-cylinder petrol engine - AJ20P6 / AJ22P6, including plug-in hybrid applications.

The gasket seals the joint between the crankcase breather cover and the engine, keeping the ventilation circuit closed so blow-by gases are drawn back into the intake tract instead of escaping to atmosphere. A hardened, crushed or split gasket shows up as an oil weep at the cover joint, an unmetered air leak and an unstable idle.

The gasket is not reusable and should be renewed whenever the breather cover is disturbed.
